Walking in the Light

For as long as I can remember, I have been afraid of being exposed. The bloody, god-aweful truth of my story is that I have experienced the fear and terror of living in the public spotlight, and survived to tell about it.

This chapter of my life is a fist in the mirror of shame, and a timid step in the direction to live a life of vulnerability for the sake of my soul. I want to create space to doubt and laugh and celebrate the mystery. I want to put all of my cards on the table, and fold under the weight of surrender. I want to live with the light on, and the door open.

Welcome to my heart, pull up a chair and listen to this…
